Introducing a Unique Interpretation of Urban Elegance

Renowned designer Renata Yin presents the Shanghai Yuemao Mansion, a model room design that showcases the epitome of urban elegance. Located in the Juyuan new district of Jiading District, Shanghai, this project redefines the standards of the metropolis elite with its small yet impactful size.

The main room types, spanning approximately 80-90 square meters, are meticulously crafted to preserve the original dimensions and sense of space. The design incorporates plain wallpaper, sun board, metal inlay, gray tiles, and beige marble, resulting in a harmonious blend of materials that exude sophistication.

The inspiration for this design stems from the building's material, the Resin Sun Plate. Renata Yin ingeniously reuses linear elements and simplifies techniques to maximize the use of the small space. By omitting traffic areas and integrating them into the interior functional space, the design optimizes the house type and expands the overall usable area.

The Shanghai Yuemao Mansion project commenced in March 2020 and was successfully completed in September 2020, showcasing the designer's dedication and attention to detail. Renata Yin collaborated with Changying and Luqisheng, who played integral roles in bringing this design to life.

This exceptional design has been recognized for its excellence and innovation, receiving the Iron A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail, and Exhibition Design category in 2021.
